• First woman to cross the Atlantic by air June 1928
• First woman to solo on transcontinental roundtrip, September 1928
• Speed record for 100 km, Detroit, Michigan, June 1930
• Broke altitude record for autogrios* at 15,000 feet and then broke own record by going to 18,415 feet on same day, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, April 1931
• First woman to solo Atlantic and first person to cross Atlantic by aur twice, May 1932
• Women's nonstop transcontinental speed record, Los Angeles, california, to Newark, New Jersey, August 1932
• Broke own 1931 transcontinental speed record, July 1931
• First Person to fly Hawaii to California, first person to solo anywhere in the Pacific, and first person to solo over both Atlantic and Pacific oceans, January 1935
• First person to solo from Los Angeles, California to Mexico City, Mexico, April 1935
• First person to solo from Mexico to Newark, New Jersey, May 1935
• Record for east to west crossing, Oakland California, to Honolulu, Hawaii, March 1937
